Previously Pollock’s Cafe, the new owners have been working to keep some of the original detail of the building with the tin ceiling and re-purposed bar. However, this family venture has their sights set on making Bloomfield the place to be and we don’t see any harm in that. With a long, well-stocked bar, you have a myriad of choices when it comes to picking your poison. Drafts, cocktails, whatever your regular is, Froggy’s will have it for you. The place has charm, and there is still work to be done – like renovating a back room that will be used for live music.
Their bar fashions a large chalkboard with all of the daily specials:
Sunday: $4 Mimosas and Bloody Marys (yes please)
Monday: 1/2 off wings and $5 pitchers
Tuesday: $4 Tito drinks ALL NIGHT
Wednesday: $3 glasses of wine, $15 bottles
Thursday: 25% off with valid hospital ID (don’t admit yourself for this)
Friday: Froggoke (any Mandy Moore wannabe’s?!) and $10 Long Islands
Saturday: $3 well drinks
You aren’t able to find a day of the week you don’t like with that line up! While they don’t offer food, you can order from Pizza Italia for no extra charge! And they deliver. *Mic drop*
This is not your average “quick beer after work” joint. Froggy’s is a place you stay and chat with new and old friends. Or, on Friday’s it’s the place you take the stage and sing with friends – and there’s nothing like a Long Island to get you singin’! They even host game day events (looking at you, Pens).
